Showcasing the Vibrant Sounds of Northeast Ohio
Rubber City RockBank is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2026 that seeks to foster community well-being by leveraging the artistic talent of Northeast Ohio. We produce live music events that celebrate emerging artists, fundraise for partner organizations, and deliver therapeutic musical experiences to groups and individuals in need.

Talented Leadership
Meet our Board of Directors.

Landon Kearns
Founder (President)
Landon Kearns is an Ohio native, IT leader, musician, and philanthropist. As a technology professional for a state university, he manages complex technical infrastructure with the same precision he brings to his role as a percussionist for the band Rye Valley.
Beyond the server room, Landon is dedicated to community impact. In 2026, he founded Rubber City RockBank, leveraging his passion for music (and planning) to generate significant support for Akron-area non-profits through live music events.
A father of three, Landon is often found exploring far-flung corners with his family or enjoying a quiet walk through the neighborhood. When he isn’t on stage or behind a terminal, he’s an avid outdoorsman with a zeal for hiking, foraging, and rockhounding.

Kevin Brosien
(Director)
Kevin G. Brosien is the director of marketing for Townhall II Integrated Health Network which is a nonprofit agency that provides mental health counseling, addiction recovery, prevention education and provides a 24/7/365 Crisis Helpline at 330-678 HELP (4357). He has previously been a member of Trout Unlimited’s Western Reserve Chapter board and the Munroe Falls Park Board. He brings decades of marketing experience and a life’s worth of musical performance experience and connections to RCRB. He performs regularly as a solo artist and with the bands Rye Valley and the Brown Brothers. He also currently hosts the weekly open mics at Divine Food and Spirits.

Tim Ellinger

Known for his dynamic style, versatility, and steady groove, Tim has built a reputation as a reliable and energetic performer, collaborating with a wide range of artists and bands.
Beyond the stage, Tim is also a dedicated concert promoter, helping bring memorable live music experiences to communities throughout Northeast Ohio. His passion for music extends into philanthropy, where he actively supports charitable initiatives and uses the power of live events to give back. Whether behind the drum kit or organizing impactful performances, Tim is committed to strengthening the local music community and making a positive difference through his work.
